This book consists of two working parts which make up the complete story. The first part consists a young girl named Sadima whose mother dies while giving birth to her. One day, she meets a nobleman named Franklin. Fed up with her life, she decides to go and live with him in the city. The second part tells us about the son of a rich merchant, Hahp, who is forced into an academy and paired with Gerrard, a peasant's son centuries later. The academy promotes only one student of the ten, and the goal is to survive. The two parts join as the academy's professor turns out be Franklin, who is some how grief struck because of his past.
I think this is a perfect fiction book as it is full of activity and is very interesting. The concept of the novel is superb + these type of books are written very less. Continue the story by reading the other parts of this series. It is perfect for 12+ kids and young readers.
